Colour systems for film coating

SEPISPERSE™ is a ready-to-use colouring system for film-coatings which is compatible with all film types including hypromellose, hydroxy propyl cellulose, acrylics, etc.

The range is available in granular and liquid form:

Granular forms: SEPISPERSE™DRY products are based on HPMC and are used in aqueous phase. They are very easy to use and are added to the film-coating solution during the dispersion of the film-forming polymer.

Liquid forms: SEPISPERSE™ Liquids are incorporated directly into the film-coating dispersion. This makes them very easy and simple to use. The SEPISPERSE™ Liquids range are suitable for every type of film-coating including sugar-based film-coatings and film-coating dispersible in organic or aqueous medium.

Both forms of SEPISPERSE™ can be used to obtain perfectly uniform and reproducible colours using qualitative (PANTONE®) and quantitative (chromametry) measures.

SEPISPERSE™ is well-suited for pharmaceutical applications and are manufactured in accordance with the Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) applicable to excipients. All components comply with the applicable European, US and JP pharmaceutical regulations.

SEPIFILM™ White TF is a white film-coating agent free from titanium dioxide developed in response to increasing demand for TiO2-free alternatives. It has strong opacifying properties and has a performance similar to that of traditional white film coating agent containing titanium dioxide, even on challenging cases such as dark and spotted cores.

Produced from ingredients widely used within the pharmaceutical industry, SEPIFILM™ White TF can easily be applied on tablets using a standard coating process.
