Alsiano offers a broad line of gelatin to the Nordic food industry sourced from collagen protein by hot water extraction. Gelatine is a versatile food ingredient that contributes to the texture, appearance, and stability of a diverse range of products.

Gelatin is a pure and healthy protein which is fully digestible and contains 18 amino acids of which 8 out of 9 are essential. It is namely used in confectionery such as gelatine gums, wine gums, marshmallows, nougat and liquorice, and in desserts like mousses, puddings and creams.
