Faba bean protein

We supply BeneoPro Faba Bean, a highly soluble protein produced from faba bean or fava bean (Vicia faba) grown with local farmers in Germany. The protein is obtained via dry fractionation, which is an energy-efficient and environmentally friendly process for protein separation.

As a result of the high solubility of BenoPro FB, it is excellent for formulation of protein-enriched smoothies and vegan dairy drinks since there is no sediment or sandy taste in your end product. In addition, faba protein has good emulsifying and foaming properties, very useful for vegan cappuccino-style drinks. BeneoPro FB can be used in a variety of applications such as dairy alternatives and protein bars.

Faba bean protein concentrate holds approx. 61 g protein per 100 g and has a great amino acid profile, complementary to cereals.
