We provide efficient antifoaming agents throughout the entire bioethanol production process from the preparation of substrate to the fermentation and the distillation.
Bioethanol is produced by an anaerobic fermentation process using microorganisms such as yeast and bacteria. During this process, foam is generated due to the presence of foam active components such as proteins and by-products in the substrate (sugar/starch based). Our line of defoamers can be added already during the preparation of the mesh, and generally, further addition is not necessary because they are carried through the entire process including the DDGS (Distillers Dried Grains with Solubles). The most effective antifoam agent, the optimal dosage quantities and the best addition points depends on factory conditions, and most be investigated by carrying out work trials.
