SEPISMART™ SR is a ready-to-use excipient for sustained release of active ingredients based on a synergistic combination of natural co-processed gums. SEPISMART™ SR allows the delivery of an effective amount of active ingredient over time at a continuos rate. It is well-suited for direct compression, it has an excellent flowability, and it can easily be processed. Furthermore, tablets containing SEPISMART™ SR show excellent results in terms of hardness and friability at low compression forces.
