Clinical studies showed improvements in skin appearance and significantly increased skin antioxidant potential after 84 days of intake.
SEPITONE™ has been evaluated in gold-standard clinical studies. In a randomised, double-blind, placebo-controlled clinical trial, 66 healthy women aged 35-65 years with uneven skin tone and signs of ageing consumed either 100 mg/day of SEPITONE™ or placebo for 84 days.
The study demonstrated that SEPITONE™ contributes to enhanced skin complexion with a lightening effect. First significant effects on skin pigmentation were observed after only 28 days, with a +9.4% improvement in ITA° (indicator for pigmentation) after 84 days. At day 84, 78% of women who took SEPITONE™ showed an improvement in skin homogeneity compared to baseline, according to dermatological evaluation.
SEPITONE™ also helps improve skin plumping. Compared to placebo, SEPITONE™ significantly reduced wrinkle depth by 9.5% after 28 days and by 14% after 84 days of intake. Skin luminosity was also significantly increased after 28 days.
Consumer satisfaction was high: 97% of participants found that their overall skin appearance had improved, 94% felt that their skin had a healthier glow, and 91% found that their skin was more plumped.
