Decreasing friction between the dietary supplement formulations particles and the surfaces of the tableting equipment, lubricant ingredients are important to run a smooth production. We supply lubricant agents for solid dosage form production.
Medium chain triglyceride oil (MCT oil) is an excellent lubricant agent. The fatty ester derived from renewable vegetable is for instance well-suited for use as a lubricant for soft capsules and to prevent nozzles clogging in processing machines. In addition, in production of tablets, it reduces friction between the die wall and the granules as the tablet is formed and ejected.
In addition to its lubricant functionality, MCT oil can also be used in soft gel fill solutions to increase solubility and bioavailability of insoluble compounds, and in tablet manufacturing as an anti-adhesive and polishing agent.
Our MCT oil is of 100 % vegetable origin, neutral in odour and taste, and non-GMO, halal, and kosher.
