Vercatech CAPRYFORCE ECO is an innovative synergetic blend with natural and COSMOS approved Caprylyl Glycol. The liquid and water soluble multi-functional ingredient provides pH independent anti-microbial activity and good moisturising properties, covering all type of formulae including emulsions, tonics and surfactant bases – even the most challenging. The 100 % natural blend is designed to minimise the risk of destabilisation. In addition, there is low irritation probability due to low and synergetic content of active matter.
Vercatech CAPRYFORCE ECO is ideal for sun care products, formulations with high amounts of pigments and all types of emulsions.
Formulating with Vercatech CAPRYFORCE ECO
Emulsions: CAPRYFORCE ECO is recommended to be added at the water phase, at the beginning, and before the emulsification/homogenisation step. It withstands hot processes.
Surfactant bases: CAPRYFORCE ECO is recommended to be added at the beginning of the process before adding the surfactants. At the upper suggested 4 % dosage limit, CAPRYFORCE is fully soluble in water.
It is always recommended to us a chelator, such as Vercare Phyta (natural), in any formulae that supports and boosts the anti-microbial efficacy.
