Exfoliation is a natural process of removing dead skin cells from the skin’s surface. As we get older this process slows down leading to negative effects such as dull appearance of the skin, roughness and decreased absorption.
We offer BIOGOMM’AGE™, a broad range of exfoliating particles based on natural environment-friendly cellulose particles which are gentle to the skin.
Exfoliation has many benefits: It helps to keep skin in a natural, fresh, and clean state, the skin care products to penetrate deeper, and it boosts blood circulation. Besides that, it helps cell turnover, and might also stimulate collagen synthesis. However, the exfoliation can be too rough and damage the skin.
The BIOGOMM’AGE™ range is based on 100% natural cellulose and it acts as a “smart sensor”. If the skin care user applies a pressure on the particles that is too intense for the skin, the particles simply dissolve, while still providing a gentle exfoliating function. The gently exfoliation helps the skin’s natural cycle of cellular renewal.
In vivo tests have shown that BIOGOMM’AGE™ has the same exfoliation efficiency as conventional apricot kernel fragments of the same size distribution.
We supply 3 series of Biogomm’age™ with two different sizes of granulates:
Besides colour, two actives known for their skin benefits are added to the UE and WD series. Vitamin E contained in the UE series is a potent antioxidant protecting the cells and proteins against oxidation. D-Propanthenyl Triacetate (D-PTA) which is added to the WD series is a derivate from vitamin B5 that has soothing and repairing properties.
Biogomm’age™ exfoliating agents properties:
The dosage is from 3-5%. Furthermore, Biogomm’age™ are a new generation of exfoliating particles that are environment-friendly with a biodegradability at 85% giving the product the property of being “readily biodegradable”.
