New cadmium limits in foodstuffs come into effect from 1 January 2015
The EU Commission has established revisions of cadmium limits in foodstuffs as set out in the Commission Regulation 488/2014 amending the Commission Regulation 1881/2006.
This means that the maximum level of cadmium allowed will be as shown in the table below.
