Aluminium phosphate

Alsiano offers aluminium phosphate which is an antacid compound. Amorphous, tertiary aluminium phosphate exerts its antacid action by building a protective film over the mucous membranes of the digestive system. This protective film prevents acid from reaching the stomach wall and thus creates favourable conditions for the healing of lesions. The astringent and anti-inflammatory action of aluminium phosphate also contributes to the healing of gastrointestinal lesions.

Aluminium phosphate does not alter the pH of the stomach. This way, the natural protection of the stomach and intestinal tract by the germicidal action of gastric acid is undisturbed.
